Teachers give so much of themselves every day - time, energy, creativity, and care. They're not just dedicated educators but mentors, motivators, and role models to the children they teach. And while their impact and hard work is immeasurable, their own mental health and wellbeing often takes a back seat.

That's why, every year, we're proud to be able to give something back. Through our loyalty scheme, we share our annual profits with our education and public sector customers through loyalty vouchers. It's our way of saying thank you and appreciating the people who support so many others.

Why teacher well-being matters

When teachers feel their best, they can fully show up for students, colleagues, and themselves. A sense of well-being helps build resilience, encourages creativity, and fosters stronger relationships within the school community. It’s the foundation that allows educators to thrive, not just survive.

Yet with increasing pressures, from curriculum demands and accountability pressure to safeguarding responsibilities and limited resources, it’s easy for teachers’ well-being to fall down the priority list. Many teachers go above and beyond, often dipping into their own time and money to support their pupils. This can lead to burnout, stress, and a feeling of being undervalued.

That’s where small, thoughtful gestures like loyalty vouchers can make a big difference to teachers’ lives. Loyalty vouchers may seem simple, but they carry a powerful message: your efforts matter - reminding teachers that their well-being and mental health is important too.

How we are making a difference

Since 2011, we've given back over £19.5 million through our loyalty scheme, helping schools and public sector organisations maximise their budgets and spend where it matters most.

Our loyalty vouchers are more than just a 'freebie'. They're a way to say: we see you and appreciate everything you do. The emotional impact of feeling valued, appreciated, and supported can be just as powerful as the reward itself. It's the difference between being a regular customer and being part of a bigger community.

Loyalty vouchers can be redeemed against anything on our website, giving teachers and educators complete freedom to choose how they spend their voucher. The vouchers could help towards things like:

• Classroom essentials - which teachers sometimes have to pay for themselves
• Books, furniture and other resources - to enhance learning spaces
• Wellbeing items - like tea bags or chocolate biscuits for the staffroom
• Creative tools - to bring new and exciting ideas to life

The flexibility of loyalty vouchers offers teachers a chance to choose products that bring them joy, ease, or inspiration and it allows us to fully express our gratitude to those teachers for shopping with us.

Real stories, real impact

We often hear from schools about the difference these vouchers make. Last year, we had the pleasure of visiting Outwood Grange Academies Trust to find out more about how they spent their loyalty voucher. You can watch the recap of our visit over on our YouTube channel.

Outwood received a total voucher amount of £5477.62 to spend across schools within their Trust. They talked about how they use their annual vouchers to replenish crucial school resources, helping to maintain high-quality learning environments and ensure students have access to the essential tools they need to succeed. In some of the schools within the Trust, they even allow the children to decide how they would like the vouchers to be spent to support their learning.

A shared commitment to well-being

Teacher well-being is a shared responsibility, and we want to play our part in any way that we can. Whether it's through loyalty vouchers, tailored support, or simply recognising the incredible work educators do every day, we believe that small acts of appreciation can lead to big changes in education.

So, as we look to the future, we'll keep listening, learning, and giving back. Because when teachers feel supported, everyone benefits.
